Day 1: Arrive in Tel Aviv

For your convenience and to help overcome jet lag, this Israel tour package includes an optional night in Tel Aviv upon arrival. Stroll along the pristine Mediterranean beach, take in the city life or relax at your hotel.

The next day, visit the ancient city of Akko to see the Ottoman city, Crusader castle and explore underground tunnels. Then enjoy a ride on the world’s steepest cable car at Rosh Hanikra for spectacular views of the limestone cliffs and grottoes.

If Jewish or Israeli history interests you, this is the day to visit The Israel Museum and Yad Vashem. Alternatively, enjoy a day trip to Haifa, which highlights the golden domed Bahai Shrine and its exotic Persian Gardens. If time allows, stop at Mount Carmel for a beautiful view of the Western Galilee and Haifa Bay.

Day 2: Arrive in Jerusalem

Upon arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport or Sdeh Dov Domestic Airport, our tour representative will assist with immigration procedures. Once you have cleared customs, you will be transferred to your hotel in Tel Aviv for check-in.

During your first full day in Jerusalem, discover the city’s key Jewish sites. Visit the Western Wall and slip a prayer into one of its cracks, explore Temple Mount and visit the tunnels beneath it, and take a walking tour of Yemin Moshe, the cluster of neighborhoods located in the heart of Jerusalem.

Next, head to Bethlehem, the biblical birthplace of Jesus, and see the Church of the Nativity. Then, visit the bustling Carmel Market, a colorful marketplace filled with fresh produce, spices, street food, and unique souvenirs.

Day 3: Arrive in Caesarea

Israel packs so much into such a small land that even a brief visit will leave you wanting more. From the lowest point on earth to a vibrant seaside cosmopolitan city, from historic religious sites to stunning natural beauty, it has something for everyone to enjoy.

On day 3 of your tour package, you will get to spend time at Caesarea, where you can explore the famous Roman ruins. From here, you will be taken to the Dead Sea, where you can swim in the infamous water and enjoy its calming properties.

Then, you will be able to spend the afternoon at the Ba’hai World Center and its gardens. Here you can learn about the religion that is unique to this region of the world.

Day 4: Arrive in Haifa

During your time in Haifa you will see the famous Persian Gardens of the Bahai Temple as well as enjoy the many sights and attractions that this seaside cosmopolitan city has to offer. See the world’s largest cargo ships and cruise ships scuttling around the harbor while viewing beautiful beaches, elegant Mediterranean buildings and the lush Carmel Mountain range.

Depending on your religious background you may choose to tour the famous holy sites of Jerusalem. No matter your religion this is one of the best things to do in Israel and should not be missed. Alternatively, if Jewish and Israeli history is your interest you can spend the day at The Israel Museum. This is a great place to see the Dead Sea Scrolls and unique synagogue interiors.

Day 5: Arrive in Ein Gedi

The Ein Gedi Nature Reserve is one of Israel’s most remarkable places. Often seen as a ‘time permitting’ option on the same day as Masada and the Dead Sea, this hike is an underrated experience that should be savored.

Hike through arid canyons and botanical oasis trails, which are teeming with desert wildlife. You’ll be able to spot Nubian Ibex, and the area is also home to wolves, foxes, bats, birds of prey and more.

After hiking in the hot sun, enjoy a relaxing bathe in the natural pools, waterfalls and springs of this unique oasis. Then head to the Dead Sea, where you can float in the salty waters and scrub your skin with rejuvenating mud. It’s the perfect end to a packed tour package!
